N2 Inc. is a software development company located in Fargo, North Dakota. We specialize in creating electrical construction estimating software for electrical contractors. Our goal is to create the fastest to use electrical takeoff software. Our products are professional and affordable. They include support and training.

As an electrical contractor himself, Joel Nix, our founder, realized that he needed a more efficient way to create his electrical takeoffs. Like many electrical contractors, Joel started with an Excel spreadsheet. After several years, Joel became convinced that there needed to be an easier and faster way to create electrical takeoffs.

Development began on Best Estimate Pro in January of 2007. Version 1.0 was released in August of 2008 and version 2.0 was released in May of 2009. Version 3.0 was released in January 2010.
