Will you help me do an estimate?
Yes, we will be happy to help you with your estimates. We charge $50/hour. Unlike other estimating services, you will have control of the estimate in your Best Estimate Pro company and take over the estimate and or change orders any time you choose.
-
How is your product licensed?
Our product is licensed in one of three ways.
- Per Estimate. You pay for each estimate as you create it.
- Monthly Subscription. You pay for unlimited estimates for one user for one month.
- Annual Subscription. You pay for unlimited estimates for one user for one year.
Email technical support and all product updates are included with the license. This ensures you always have the latest software and you always have the ability to get help.
-
What are the advantages of licensing it this way?
There are many advantages for customers to a Pay As You Go/Subscription licensing model.
- Better service. We are always earning your business so we listen to our customers.
- Current Software. You never fall behind the times on old software that isn't supported anymore.
- Low initial price. Their is no need to tie up large sums of money. You can invest it in your business instead.
-
Can I just buy the software forever?
We do not sell perpetual licenses to our software. You can pay up to 36 months in advance to lock in the current pricing.
-
Where is my data stored?
Your data is located in a secure data center operated by CoSentry in Sioux Falls, SD. We chose this facility because of it's great reputation and history. Over the past six years the facility has averaged less than 5 minutes of downtime per year!
-
Can I use the program if I don't have an internet connection.
The short answer is 'No', the program requires an internet connection to save your data to the database. If you are diconnected from the internet you can wait until the connection is restored and then save your work. So there is little danger of losing work because of your internet going down.
-
How do I get my data out of the system?
If you want a complete export of all your data please request it through the request form. We will create an export in Excel format and send it to you.
