Create a new company and choose your templates to pre-load.
Enter Your Company Information
Open your newly created company and enter your company information. Your company name and labor
information are required to complete an estimate.
Update Your Parts Pricing
Best Estimate Pro comes loaded with thousands of parts in its part’s library. These parts are defined
with a part number, a part description, a unit of measurement, and trade service pricing. Trade service
pricing is, in general, a higher than common price for a particular part. To make sure your parts pricing
is accurate, we have created a simple way for you to import your parts and prices from your
wholesaler of choice.
Parts can be added and updated directly from an Excel spreadsheet or CSV (comma separated value)
file. Contact your wholesaler and request that your pricing information be sent as an attachment via email.
If necessary, direct your wholesaler to this page to view examples of the spreadsheets.
Once you receive a spreadsheet from your wholesaler, save it to your desktop, import the spreadsheet using the
Import Parts Wizard, and adjust your parts’ markup.
Modifying and Creating Assemblies and Rooms
Best Estimate Pro comes loaded with pre-created assembly and room templates. You should expect to
create and modify the assembly and room templates to reflect the exact way you estimate.
